Hello From Admiralty Inlet – by HS

Leg 2

Blog 20

August 31, 2024

Happy Saturday evening to you all! As we are in-between blogs, we thought we would give you a video of where we are and it is spectacular (if we do say so ourselves!) If you like ice, you came to the right place.

We spent the night at Arctic Bay, so please standby for that blog. We have now progressed 4,000 NM so we are really making progress. Have no fears, we will likely need to sail another 3,000, so we still have plenty of time to be together on this leg.

Please enjoy the videos below.

We are on our way to Pond Inlet via Lancaster Sound. We will soon make a right hand turn around Baffin Island and head south. See above.

But it is hard not to get excited passing these icebergs. We are past the sea ice for now, and these big ones are from Greenland. Just magnificent!

These ice bergs are from Greenland and they have come a long way. Each carries it’s own majesty and energy that you can feel.

You had me going for 4 seconds about Greenland tagging their glacier pieces! Gullible but loving every account of this trip together with your trademark sense of humor.

    Safe Sales!
